It is true, the time in which we are living is indeed unstoppable. There are no limits to our ideas and creativity. We can do and create almost anything what we want in this present world. Whether be it the invention or discovery, everything is noticed, appreciated and encouraged. In the history of science this would be the most perfect timing for any great brain to be born. If peopole, like Copernicus, Galileo or Newton would take birth now, most of the mysteries of Universe would be in our hand. Though the present day scientists are painstakin and doing their best with the aid of electronic instruments their efforts seem to be incomparable against the intellectuals who presented before us the real picture and position of the earth and Sun without any sophisticated machinery. The efforts of those scientists are most commendable. The difficulties which they faced, in their personal life, in bringing out the truth, I think does not require any mention as many know about it already. To come up, that too against an idea that ruled the society for thosand years was really a daunting task. And these people never thinking about their future or family showed their bravado and intelligent skills rose above all of us, at a position at which all of us dream to be.The challenges even today are enormous and intelligence today is also feared because of its innate quality to challenge the staunch, concrete-laden myth of a super-natural , super power. The present Indian society and polity also fears the same because of its weak foundations of religions.[ To be concluded......]

SOCIAL RESPONSIBLITIES
The question that haunts me whole night and day is that 'what are our social responsiblities?' Is it limited to sitting at home, watching the news, looking at the crestfallen individuals, and finally offering our pittance to them. We do get touched by the sufferings, But in reality, in our actions do we lend a helping hand to that person. Pittance is not a final solution. We have to come up. We have to show our bravado, come out of our so-called shells which refrain us from helping the other man in trouble. Let us come out freely against the boors, who crime against the poor souls. And by poor I am not only exemplifying not only the downtrodden but also those who are rich, but in trouble. The thing I want to change is the way the people ignore their responsiblity toward others. This is a very serious matter, indeed.
I want people to be more friendly and amicable to others problem. Here I would like to give an example. In Chennai, I , and many others have noticed, how the Auto-Drivers here loot the public by asking the fare exactly four to five fold and if the passenger refuses to pay the ultra-high fare, the scene becomes rather violent wuth the automan dominating the fight[It has been my personal experience and I have seen others also facing the same]. The fight is seemingly incongruous and the lone warriors, the passengers finally give up. This is just one of the various problems that we ignore.
Here hwat I am trying to emphasize is that the onlookers with sheep mentality must deviate themselves from crowd and come to the rescue of the harassed.

S & I: The irony of my LIFE
I first learnt of the word irony when I was in 11th class. It was in one of my English textbook, the story was “The Mark of Vishnu” written by Khushwant Singh. In this short story, he had indited several ironical statements regarding Gungaram (the central character of story). The irony was very peculiar and sublime. Here, I am producing the irony that I have faced personally in my life. Here it goes dear friends.
This all started when I was profoundly attracted towards a girl of my college named Shanti. Nothing happened between us but my friend Shahil thought I must find alliance; therefore, I recommended her name. Later, he tried arranging a talk between us and it was unsuccessful, she refused. I was indeed hurt that time as it was natural for anyone to be. Therefore I was trying to find solace somewhere on this earth but couldn’t. Here began the irony of my life.
A few days after the incident had happened (While I was recuperating from this cruel day in my life), I saw a carelessly thrown wrapper on road and my eyes intuitively caught those six clear letters in capital SHANTI. The thing which I was running from had sought me unaware.
Things would have been better if everything had stopped here but it didn't. As I took out the books, which I had brought from a library, I couldn't help myself from glancing at the back of one of the books. The stamp upon it gleamed in blue without any smudge carrying the letters SHANTI BOOK HOUSE. Ah!! it still pains. The word instantly reminded me of her and I was almost in tears again. It passed, but not for long.
The next day when I left for medical shop a few hundred metres away from my house I happened to see a board that carried the same holy name backlighted EXTENSIVELY in bright orange, it said: SHANTI ELECTRICALS. I put my head in my hands and pulled my hairs, reaction any ordinary human would have shown.
The irony, however, was not going to leave me here. It was to torture me again. How?? Read on. A petrol pump near my house started renovating. The plan involved replacing the underground tank and the existing canopy with a new 0ne. The underground thing was fine but it was the overhead canopy that bothered me (and still bothers me). For when they removed it they didn't replace it quickly and took their own time making me to bang my heads daily on the walls as there was a building right behind the pump flanked by tall structures on either sides. With the canopy up and tall structures by its side the name wasn't visible but with the covers down the name was too visible to be ignored, the name was( yes you alomost guessed it) SHANTI RAM CENTRE. I was hysterical literally.
The irony still follows me but the pain has allayed. The disadvantages of knowing too many languages remain and this is the reason that I see her name everywhere in English, Hindi and Tamil(I can read it!).
